DNA repair enzymesDNA repair enzymes are DNA-binding proteins that cause the body’s own repair of the skin cell in the cell nucleus. This principle of action was copied by an international team of dermatologists in the course of a research project to develop an innovative sun protection from nature. Microbes that were exposed to the highest levels of UV radiation thousands of years ago and are equipped with an efficient repair mechanism served as “patterns”.
Why Nopasome®All sun protection and care products from ATEIA® contain a combination of 2 differently effective DNA repair enzymes in a liposomal formulation (photosomes, ultrasomes) and a plant-based nopal cactus extract (Nopasome®).This unique active ingredient complex* can support the body’s own repair mechanisms of the skin cells during sunbathing and thus prevent skin damage caused by UV light or premature skin aging.Photosomes activate the skin’s repair mechanism in daylight and ultrasomes at night (24 h-action). The photosomes and ultrasomes are bound in a liposomal formulation and can thus penetrate into deeper layers of the skin.The nopal cactus can soothe and prevent skin irritation due to its high content of polysaccharides. Notes on packagingA special can with airless system and self-priming pump ensures precise dosing, application in any position (360° function), maximum protection of the contents of the can against contamination by environmental influences and a minimum residual amount after use.Remove the small plug-in closure on the dispenser head (= tamper-evident closure) before use. When using it for the first time, it is necessary to press the pump button several times until gel comes out of the dispenser.
